Cole Tanigawa-Lau

Welcome to my personal website!

I am a post-doc at New York University Abu Dhabi. My research studies U.S. elections and representation, with recurring themes of political geography and civil rights.

I received my PhD in Political Science from Stanford University. My dissertation examined disability and politics in mass surveys of the United States. From late 2022 to 2024, I worked on redistricting litigation for the American Civil Liberties Union as their Social Science Fellow, Voting Rights.
